Like Neo was told, sometimes we need the illusion that we have the choice.

The more we learn about genetics, environmental influence, and a child's upbringing in particular, the more we realize that "free will" may be another human concept that has no basis in reality.

There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

The interpretation of the word karma has become so corrupted by man that its void of any understanding of it. Karma simply means "action", we are agents of karma because we are in action to balance our upper and lower centers. It's impossible to negate or dissolve karma. Basically, karma is for developmental purposes to help bring to balance the alpha and omega so we can rest. Since the law is every action returns to its source so is it that a man becomes bound by his previous actions until the lessons are learned or to say a balance/resolution is reached.

Life is a never ending process of new opportunities and hence new karma. The more enlightened you become the less karma you create and the less attached you become to material desires.

karma does not necessarily have a negative connotation. karma is simply the result of your past actions. i.e., if you did good, you will harvest good, and viceversa.

we have to try because our present action will determine our future reinarnation, but mostly, because negative actions generate pain and suffering, while positive actions generate bliss and happiness.

There is no such thing as karma. Its as fictional as Casper the friendly ghost. You and you alone are responsible for you choices. God, your creator, allows mankind this freedom. ...freedom to live their lives as they want, freedom to accept him and his gift of salvation through Jesus, and freedom to reject him and spend eternity apart from him. Utliimately, you will be rewarded, or punished, for your choices... ..either while you are here on earth, or on judgement day throughout eternity.

you're not guided by karma...you missunderstood the meaning of karma!!!! karma is only a way of punishment, it only makes things right! for example, if you do something wrong against someone, karma strikes back depending of your spiritual elevation! it only shows you when you're wrong ...it's not your destiny (karma= like a mechanical priciple...action and reaction)
