The only thing that can repair split ends is a pair of scissors. They have shampoos and conditioners that say they do; but they are lying. damaged hair (damaged from what)? If its damaged I'm going to assume its also dry ro porous. I would say start by using a clarifying shampoo to restore the ph balance ( you can also use a neutralizing shampoo, its cheaper and does the same thing. The one by Isoplus only cost $1.00). Then use a GOOD conditioner like say Biolage Matrix Conditioning Balm a large jar costs about $32. Or Nexuss Humectress 13.99 in Target the one by Biolage you can only buy in salons. You can use them as regular conditioners (rinse out after use) or you can do what i do and use them as deep conditioners (sit under a heating cap for 20 min then rinse out, once a week). Also get (from Target) Infusium 23 leave in conditioner and put that in your hair after deep conditioning style as usual. Get a trip once every 2-4 mths (depending on how fast your hair grows). 6-12 mths of this and your hair should be back to normal. Oh and try and stay away from thermal heat (flat irons, curling irons, blow dryers do not use these in excess) or your defeating the purpose.

u definitely have to cut off the split end coz it will spread if u dont cut it off...

try this method to save ur damaged hair...
use egg white after u shampoo your hair. after shampooing your hair, rinse off then apply egg white on hair n scalp, leave it on for 5-10mins and rinse off wit cold water then use ur conditional.

it works for me but u have to constantly do it... maybe once every 2-3days. do it for 3months n u will see the long lasting result. (the duration depends on how worse ur hair condition is currently)

only use the egg white n not the egg york. coz egg white has protein. depend on ur hair length, if urs is short, 1 will do, if long, maybe u will need 2.

eggs are cheaper alternative for hair care treatment.

do not try this method if u r allergic to eggs.

u can also try adding salt when shampooing your hair, it will prevent hair loss n ur hair will not turn white so fast...(tis method is more for the elderly but it is nv too early to do prevention) my mum is using tis method now and it works too. =)

WELL, IT IS REALLY HARD TO RESTORE SPLIT AND DRIED ENDS, NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE SAY.
THE BEST ANSWER IS TO GET THEM CUT OFF!!!
