If either of you have a cut, wound, or sore in your mouths...you can contract any number of illnesses caused by blood-borne pathogens. You can reduce the chance of infection by A. don't french (not the most fun choice), B. rinse you mouth with mouth wash before kissing (the alcohol will constrict blood vessels in your mouth)...and make the experience been for her :-)...C. avoid kissing if there are obvious signs such as visible sores
