You'll have to start with zero 'no claims' again.
Also, the prob with the few companies that allow 'named drivers' to build a 'no claims' discount is that discount can only be applied to policies taken out with the same insurer ........ eg. my wife (as a named driver) wouldn't be able to transfer her ncd to anotehr company. Make sure you check to see if the ncd is transferable if you (or anyone else) decide to take up this option.

thats your answer, to be able to receive no claims the insurance has to be in your name as the main driver of the vehicle. on your wife's insurance you were a added driver and on your company car the company was the main insurer. it has to be your name on your insurance.

specific, that is actual, boys extraordinarily will rigidity your expenditures up. besides the undeniable fact that that is area of becoming up. as quickly as the boys are 18 they might get their license with out his help, and his expenditures will nevertheless go up in the event that they're residing in his domicile. the only element they might do, which additionally happens to be the main inexpensive, is to be further to his insurance. maximum insurance companies won't make it easier to record your babies as excluded drivers, they be attentive to that have a license and assume, (probable properly) that they are going to rigidity quicker or later. they might't get their own coverage until they're 18, or perhaps then the expenditures would be sky severe until they're further to dad's coverage.

Unfortunately that is the case for all, rules of the time. Now days Direct Line offer named persons full no claims entitlement but that's too late for you. Had the same problem myself.
