It is a regular and legitimate complaint from women about the men they're dating or married to. The man starts out all romantic, always thinking of her,......then after a period of time (which varies), the man becomes less romantic, less thoughtful.
I don't think it's usually that he's putting on an act, but that's true some of the time. I think usually it's plain laziness (complacency, taking the woman for granted) and/or the guy getting to know more unpleasant things about his woman.....and not feeling as romantic because of these revelations.

Men get attracted by looks, so if shes a pretty girl, you know very fast if shes what your looking for.
Girls get attracted mainly by personality, so it takes time for them to find out if he's the ONE.
when he knows that she's the ONE, he becomes romantic, same happens for her, but since she takes more time to really know him, between 3 to 6 months, he acts romantic pretty quick. When she becomes romantic, attraction for him is going down, unless she knows how to keep it. After 6 months, when she know hes the ONE, girls turn into getting married mode, they want to fix his guy to get him ready to marry him. The critizice many thing about him, she acts like a wife. If attraction for him is very low, he gets bored.

because most men take women for granted. they got what they want to why bother. That is not always the case though. Some men appreciate what they have and always find some small way to show it. even if it is a full minute to look at there woman and then kiss them and say I just want to look at the woman I love. Some think they have to over do it with flowers and dinner.

I see the same complaint from men whose wives have become fat and lazy and won't have sex with them. I suppose it is just human nature to slack off on trying so hard once a relationship has been going on for a certain time. If everyone remembered the thing that originally they fell in love with about the other person, this wouldn't happen so much!

I think the man reason that men lack in the romantic dept. after a while is they feel they dont need to impress you anymore because your already theres. And since you have been for a while they think that you will stay even if they dont do all the sweet things they used to.

There are a few things that can trigger this change in behavior. For one as women we tend to lapse in our duties. Remember what you did to get this man you have to still do to keep him, like wearing the teddies, matching lingerie,making his favorite meal, putting time aside for you and him, and doing the little silly things he thought was cute. If that can't remind him to stay romantic I don't know what can.

After the guy gets the woman he feels that he doesn't have to work to keep her. At times it is laziness, and comfort.

It could be what feels at certain times in the relationship when he is dating, engaged, ,married. It could be that does not think about it relapsing when it does. He may not know how to correct and does not think matters.

I think all men only want what they dont have. Once they have the women they take her for granted. Like Ive always said. You must treat a man like sh*t for him to treat you good.
