of course the bible has murder in it. the bible contains every sin known to man. It has to, its the law. it never however says murder is ok. we are commanded not to murder. why dont you read for youself what the bible says and maybe you wont blindly mispeak for other people. God gave you a mind of your own and he wants you to use it.

Because if you are a Christian....you are against murder.
If you are not a Christian...you are not against murder.

The story of Jesus is a lesson.
We kill Jesus...every time we sin...we kill Jesus over and over again.
That is why we go to church ask forgiveness and do you know what happens when we do confession....

We become Christians...AGAIN!
Meaning that if we do kill someone...we stop being Christians.
If we sin...we stop being Christians.
We then ask for fogiveness and beg to be able to be one again.
You should learn more about the religion before you ask such questions or make such implications.

You see the mistake you make is...you use humans that do wrong.
To imply God does wrong.
The whole Bible is full of people doing wrong.
And full of revertances that all people are sinners.

All saints sinned too.
All priests are sinners.
All humans are sinners.
Only God is clean.

Tell me one teaching of God in the bible or one act of God in the bible where he suports murder.

Remember....Animals have no soul.
And remember the story of the living dead.
By living dead the bible does not mean
zombies. It means people who's soul is dead
and thus they are no longer alive...they are like animals.
Remember Sodom..those people were like animals.
And so God brought his wrath down upon him because
he wanted to save human kind...and dead people can
only bare dead people.
So he saved the last survivours and the animals.
The humans left to die in Sodom were already dead
dead from their sins.

There is no part in the bible that suports murder.
Inquisition was something done by humans.
Not by God.

Like now people abuse the Quaran to support terrorism.
True Imams say those people are Lying..and they are.
There is no suport for violence in Muslims, Christian or Jewish beliefs....because we all belive in the God of Love.

Dear buddy, you've got it all wrong.

Read it all over again.. The Old Testament is called Old cos, murders, crimes, et al were "eye for eye, tooth for tooth"..

But in the New Testament, Jesus came to transform this system. He was against "eye for an eye".

"If they slap you in one cheek, show the other," he says.

as such, you wont find any blatant display of murder in the New Testament. Jesus was not murdered, He was crucified to death.

Pls check out the diff betn murder and crucifixion in ur Websters'..

Not only is the Bible full of murder (and outright condones it at times), but Christians make up a conservative segment of society that *generally* supports the death penalty. Hmm....

WOOHOO! Someone else who sees Christians as hypocrites. But then, they're argument will be that the Old Testament took place since the beginning of time "10,000 years ago" (which is completely false also as SCIENCE [gasp!] proved the earth is at least 4.5 billion years old) and shouldn't be considered with today's society.

I think it is certain ways that they think about murder like every one in life almost murdered someone when they were born if you actually think about it we almost killed our mother even as babies the act of murdering some one is different from vengence on someone that has done something bad to you!

God is trying to show that man is depraved and in need of a savior. One of the things that man does that is "bad" is murder. God, in his inspired word, recorded murders. No where does he condone this behavior but says that murderers are worthy of Hell. 1Timothy 1:9 and Revelation 21:8 show this point.

Many people and groups, not just Christians, are hipocrates. The WORLD is full of them. I think the bible is so full of killing, because, a lot of Christians were killed.
