I was daydreaming in the shower this weekend and I inadventantly put more shampoo in my hand after I'd already shampooed and rinsed my hair. Rather than wasting it, I decided to shampoo my body hair. It made me wonder if I should have been doing this for years. I'm sure soap is sufficient for body hair, but it got me thinking... anyone else shampoo and/or condition their body hair, and if so, how often?

I have only heard about using shampoo (conditioner) for washing body hair when you have coarse hair to shave. I dont think that using it for your whole body all the time is a good thing. Id might feel similar, but it is made differntly and i know that sometimes if I dont rinse really really well my back breaks out. Shampoo is different from body soap.

Um, i don't think that's necessary since body hair isn't the same type as the hair on your head.
Regular soap or body wash is enough.
Plus you should be putting lotion on after.
So there'd be no need for shampooing it, or conditioning it.

Yes you can use them on your body. You are not the only one, and since with all theses products coming on the market they are actually body wash that you can shapoo your hair with as well as your body
