There is a girl I've been liking for 6 months. I finally confessed to her two months ago (before Thanksgiving) that I like her and she told me that friendship is as far as she'll go with me. I told her that I respected that. Now, for the first time in 6 months, she likes to touch my arm when she talks to me. Could this be a sign that she is starting to like me or am I just doing wishful thinking?

When she said "friendship is as far as she'll go" she must have just said that because she was caught off guard and did not know how to respond. The fact that she is touching your arm so suggest that she may be willing to take it further than just friendship. Do not jump the gun or make any sudden gestures. Leave it up to her and she what she does, that will let you know how far she is really willing to take it.

Its a sign that she is warming up to you. It happens where a female will start to like a guy after spending time with him. Try this: get in a situation where you are talking or flirting with another female. Dude she will come out of that playing hard to get mode fast!

she might of thought about it and has started to have feelings for you too. just be careful not to over analyze every little touch or look, you could get hurt doing that. i've made that mistake too many times.. if she continues or gets more touchy feely with you ask her if shes thought about what you told her. she might of developed feelings for you also.

If she really likes you I think that she would be more direct that that. If I tell a guy that we can only be friends, I mean it and it is most likely never going to change. You can always ask her again to be sure.

honestly...it can be one of three....yes no and both....talk to her and see what she says.....confessing to her mite of made her more comfortable to u and she feels secure enough to touch you......but mayb...it just depends ...thats y u must talk to her.
