laws are changing fast right now the hot word is that you need a passport.. and it should go that way for all countries and in states and provinces.

If you are in this country illegally, how do you have a valid photo ID? Wouldn't it have been obtained under false pretenses? If so, then you may get caught.

Traveling the plains is easy. Not many people there. Boring scenery though.

Domestic travel does not require a passport and so you should be able to travel. International travel would not be possible.
