Try weight watchers. They give you all the documentation to tell you how to count all your food and you can eat alot of the foods you already eat in smaller portions. It definately helps you lose weight.

Drink a lot of water, excercise (aerobics at least 30 minutes 4 or 5 times a week), eat healthy fruits and vegetables, take a daily multivitamin. Try to eat a variety of foods, too. When it comes to food, stay away from the junk food (once in awhile, treat yourself..but not too much) and make sure you proportion everything. That means eat the correct amount for each serving! Just look on the side of the box or on the packaging to see what one serving should be. We get too used to just munching and picking at stuff or over serving ourselves. Working out will help raise your metabolism, which will help you lose weight. If you want to lose weight, follow a diet that's suitable for your age, height, and weight. For example, eating so many calories a day. Remember it takes some work, and the weight does not come off overnight. Stay motivated, and maybe get some friends involved to help you out or you can help each other out.

There are also pills out there like Hydroxycut, Trimspa, etc...but before deciding on those do some research. From what i've read, they do work. I've read a lot of success stories, but with minor side effects. GOOD LUCK!!!

I've had a lot of luck cutting out carbs & added sugars. I lost 30 lbs in 2 months and can maintain and still have a potato or two a week and a sandwich or two as well. The only drawback is that a low-carb diet generally leads you to eat more foods that are high in cholesterol, so if high triglycerides is an issue for you, you won't want to try this one. Whatever you do, it doesn't hurt to check with your doctor first.

All diets work but not all diets work for all people. Some may be difficult or impossible for you to follow whereas the next person finds it easy. That is why all the suggestions you've gotten so far are all good ways to lose weight. But you need to find one that works for you. I find low carb diets effective because I love meat and can live without bread or potatoes.

the best way is different for everyone.....i lost 20# in 3 months by cutting out all fast food and junk food, once a week (usually Friday's) i would cheat. now if i had added regular exercise to that, i would have lost more weight and faster. i did only that at the time b/c it fit into my lifestyle. i also made sure that i ate smaller portions and healthier options. (grilled instead of fried, substitute fries or potatoes for a house salad, diet soda or water) and not eating till i will stuffed..just satisfied. once you get used to not having it then its easier to turn down the junk.

Im trying the drink more water and eat more vegetables route. And making a half hearted attempt to eat less sweets. If you drink more water you will be hungry less often, and its great for your skin and hair...or so I've heard.

Exercise, eat healthy meals, and don't eat late at night before you go to bed because you cannot burn it off
