Beverages containing soda, like CocaCola and all others is the most common cause of kidney calculi, when ingested in large quantity. Never heared of stomach stones. I preffer water in most cases. Water in the morning and before bed time is recommended.

Well the stone formation in urinary system , one of the factors causing it's formation is the changes in blood Acid-Base balance which can be affected by Alcohol consumption.
