I know aspartam, like many chemicals, is not good for the body, but just how bad is it? Some claims that it causes cancer, tumors and various neurological problems..
Others say it's unhealthy, but not worse than ex sugar..
Anyone know where to find facts?

I had serious problems with aspartame. It was causing memory failure, excessive hunger, changes in my judgment and temperment. I've been off it for about 8 years now and I'm doing a LOT better. Google "aspartame side effects" to find out more info.

This is the most recent article I've seen on aspartame...in the early 90s the American Food and Drug Administration approved it and denied the claims that it causes cancer, but the European FDA (I'm not sure what it calls) has found differently recently that it DOES cause cancer and other complications. And the American FDA is reviewing this, I guess.
