Do you whine a lot, is that why she is laughing at your pain?

My husband is a little accident prone and for the most part his injuries have been caused by stupid things. I'm sorry he's hurt and I help him take care of his injury (or take him to the ER) but sometimes the situations are so weird or stupid that I can't help but to laugh at him. (Ex: strained/sprained/bruised his ankle once at work. He was driving a standup fork lift and has big feet. While he was watching a load that he had lifted up, he backed into a stack of pallets and caught his foot between the truck and the pallets. Could happen to anyone yes, but still one of those DOH situations that I had to laugh)
I would say that if she's fine in all other situations then it's probably your reaction. Doesn't mean she doesn't care, just that her funny bone is easily tickled.

Some people react that way to another person being hurt; not because they are evil or mean, but it is their mind's way of dealing with the stress at that moment. I almost chopped my brother's finger off with a shovel once, and I couldn't stop laughing. I felt horrible about what happened but for some reason, I couldn't stop laughing at him.

She may be laughing at the expression on your face or a sound that you make. Make sure you tell her the next time she gets hurt you'll be sure to laugh at her. She loves you, she IS your wife, right!? Be careful when you're around her, she may laugh again next time! Hopefully there will not be a next time! Stay Safe! =)

She's not mean, she's human. Otherwise America's funniest home videos with endless people falling and getting injured wouldn't still be on after 20 years!
I am curious about how you react to being injured tho...lol

I guess it would depend on how bad your accident was. If your reaction is overblown for something minor than maybe it is funny.

It probably is your reaction. Or she doesn't know how else to respond. I know when I feel uncomfortable in a situation, I make jokes. I just can't help it. I don't know how else to react.
