I know of the story that you're talking about, and it's 100% false. There is nothing in the wet jet that will harm your pets. I use one all the time and I have two dogs at home. They have never once gotten sick, and I have expressed concerns to my vet about the wet jet. She told me that we have nothing to worry about and that the wet jet is 100% safe for pets.

That is all false. I use the Swiffer Wet Jet daily and I have a small dog and a cat and neither one has ever gotten sick from this. Most of the cleaning fluid in those wet jet bottles is water, somewhere between 90 and 100%. With propylene glycol and isopropyl alcohol making up the other 1 to 4 percent. The rest of the ingredients is preservatives and minor ingredients.
Ethylene glycol the component of antifreeze is what can kill your pets and it is not an ingredient in the wet jet. I hope this helps.

I seirously doubt that by them walking on the floor, is going to kill them!! I have 2 cats, a dog, 5 people, and wild mice that walk on my floor, and none of them have died. Well, not because of the wetjet. I also have 3 parakeets that breethe that stuff in, and they're just fine.
I think the only way it would hurt them, is if they were to lick the floor while it's still wet. I haven't heard anything about the swiffer, but I'll take your word for it. When it's dry, it's like licking soapy water.
I've had my wetjet for like, 3 yrs now, granted I don't use it as often as I really should, but it's never hurt my animals. Even when i got my dogs as puppies. I had to have one when they were puppies, because of when they would leave me runny presents!!
Wether it's safe to use around animals or not, I still would't let them lick the floor, trying to get a treat, or food, or if they just like the smell of it, whatever. They could have an allergic reaction to it, or if they ingest enough, it could cause them harm. Things that are safe, aren't typically 100%, mainly because of the amount ingested! So kick your cats out of the kitchen until it's dry.

From the ASPCA.ORG WEBSITE:
ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center Responds to Swiffer Wet Jet Rumor:
The Swiffer Wet Jet system contains water (90-100%), propylene glycol n-propyl ether or propylene glycol n-butyl ether and isopropyl alcohol (1-4%). These ingredients are safe to use around pets when used according to label directions and would not cause liver damage at product concentrations. Propylene glycol n-butyl/propyl ether differs significantly from ethylene glycol, the potentially toxic ingredient present in most antifreeze products. Ethylene glycol is frequently implicated in causing renal failure in dogs following antifreeze ingestion. Propylene glycol n-propyl ether and propylene glycol n-butyl ether are very safe ingredients at levels used in cleaning products and do not cause kidney or liver failure.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7ZH
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.
