I had a birthday party that was planned with my girls on Saturday night that was girls only at a club. Boyfriend got pissed that he wasn't invited to the girls part and had to drive down a couple hours to see me cause hes away for work. We were going to spend the entire day together, but he called me early Saturday morning to let me know he couldn't make it, that he was called to stay for work. I didn't believe him, so I hung up and ignored him. I finally called him back this morning and broke up with him and he freaked and started crying on the phone and accused me of cheating on him. He hung up, then called me back to apologize and say that he loved me and was sorry and wanted me back. I told him I would think about it. I'm only 18 and he's 20, and I've been with him for over 3 years. We broke up a couple months back and can't seem to get back what we had. I do love him, but should I just give up? His trust issues are making me suspicious, could he have cheated and feels guilty?

he loves u a lot thats for sure just that he confused a lot and wants maximum of ur time ... he is deeply and madly in love with u .. if someone says ur cheating on him he is crying then think ... how much he loves u !!!!

Maybe he really did have to work and you hanging the phone up on him made him thin you had been up to no good the night before when out with your gal pals. See things from his point of view he might have wanted to come out to celebrate with you so why did you feel the need to make it girls only? Then when he told you he was working you threw a tantrum and hung up the phone. It doesn't look good. And then to make matters worse you dumped him!
I think you need to grow up.

How can you let go of somebody you love??When you love somebody you cannot brake up with him because you just cannot imagine life without them...Between two people who are in love it is normal to appear certain misunderstandings, but these should not lead to separation...You've been with this guy for 3 years... You know better if you really got to love him and implicitly to respect him, need him and depend on his presence in some way...

hmm this sounds like your problem and not his. you didnt invite him to your bday, he got called into work and so you blew him off?
if i where him I would dump you.
you sound inconsiderate, rude, overly suspicious and bratty.
