I have a great match and an ideal person - online- I am attracted to him as a person for what he says, how he thinks, etc-- I thnk hesa a great person.
But I am not nutsy about his appearance; hes not at all what I would look for or thought I would want.
...advice, anybody?

that's what we call ego love and not unconditional love. look up those phrases on the internet and you will get a better understanding.

Well what's more important to you? How he makes you feel or how he looks? Think about this, ugly ducklings can become beautiful swans with some new cloths and a haircut, but as far as personality and character are concerned, the scorpion will always sting the frog no matter how good he looks.

ditto girl! I have the EXACT situation right now. I think that I am going to continue to see him. He is my type with the exception of looks, I actually think that he could grow on me in that area but I am concerned about what my friends and family will say- I know that sounds horrible but it is true. It should not matter and they would be okaywith it if I told them that he was a great guy and treated me well. But their would be an initial shock. Good luck, follow your heart.

I think that you have to just weigh out the 2 aspects, I am asssuming that you are thinking about getting "involved" with this person?
