I have some credit card debt. I have a lot of medical bills that I cannot pay. I missed a great deal of work and a great deal of income last year due to illness. I have not received a full pay check since June due to all of my missed time. I finally got my medical problems under control and now I can't pay my bills. I tried to get a debt consolidation loan and was denied. I can't ask parents or in-laws. We are in danger of having our power and water turned off. Any suggestions.

If people give you several ideas for making some money, remember that they are not either/or ideas where you have to pick just one. You can have multiple streams of income, with several ways to earn money going on at the same time, giving you more income in total and reducing your risk of having no income.
You can also search on here for previous questions and answers about 'debt' and 'extra income', using the 'Search for questions' box. Doing a google search for 'extra income' will turn up mostly scams, but Yahoo Answers is normally quite good, as blatent adverts are reported and removed.
If you think of any methods for making more money, either in your local area or on the internet, but don't think you know enough to do it, you can always ask for advice on Yahoo Answers and people will tell you how to do it or where to find advice and instructions on the net or specialised websites for the task. You can also google for articles. For any task or problem, there are thousands of people that have done it before you, so you can benefit from their experience.

Ask for a loan from your Employer with an undertaking to get it deducted from your future pay checks.
Also arrange a meeting with a local Pastor in some good Church and talk to him about the problem. Go through someone whom you know, he will be able to guide you to the right help and resources available to you at this point.
Contact also the Social Security adminstration, explain your problem to them. The social security administration is also called Local Government welfare benifits department. Try here.

for the medical bills, are these hospital bills? if thats the case... go to the hospital that rendered the services... apply for charity care... that should cover for the hospital bills... as for office bills ... contact each doctor.. the amount you give to them is the amount the doctor office must accept... the credit cards.. contact each one.. let them know whats going on... they will work with you...... take care good luck
