have been going out with a guy for 6 wks .told him i loved him and he said he likes me a lot and has feelings for me but doesnt know if he loves me or not he said he is taking his time to decide.please clarify

He doesn't love you. He likes you, but he doesn't love you. That doesn't mean that he won't love you. It only means that he doesn't right now.

Well, you two have only been going out for six weeks. A lot of people these days throw the word 'love' around like it's nothing. If he says he likes you a lot, it's a good thing. It just means that he doesn't want to say the words without meaning them. Don't worry, give him time and soon enough he will love you. Trust me, you don't want him to say he loves you yet. It's so much more satisfying to hear it when he says it later....and means it.

yea most guys are really scared of commitment1 plain and simple doesnt mean he likes you any less, he jus want to make sure tht your not goin to go crazy in the furture or maybe you moving a lil to fast for. us females time doesnt really matter we know wht we feel and know wht we want. plus were very emotional but guys think in a different way. im pretty sure he doesnt mean to upset you. but there just clueless about opening up there feelings! give it some time he'll come around! p.s. but there are things you can do to speed up the process, in the mean time have some fun with it make sure you always look picture perfect when with him sexy and sassy that way when he notices that others guys are payin attention to you or checkin you out trust me, his emotion will change real quick! have the confident in your walk, talk even have sexy look!(like im the **** and i kno it) u gotta be on your toes! when he sees others guys drooling over you and the types of competeion he has , it will open his eyes to see tht out of all them you picked him.it will also let him know tht you can have your pick of anyone you want if hes not careful. that will make him want to get a tighter grip on and keep u close in fear of someone taking you away! then you will have him right where you want! good luck

guys are generally committment phobic. And 6 wks isnt probly enuf time for him to understand what he feels for u. what he means is that he likes u,likes hanging around with you..but doesnt really know if its 'love' yet. Give him his time...its always better to let the feelings develop themselves.Be consistent with your feelings..n dont hurry things up. Good luck :)

hello miss...it has only been 6 weeks...how can you possibly know you are really head-over-heels ooh soo madly deeply in love with him?I believe love takes time hun...if you tell a guy that you love him too soon...he might get uncomfortable...so like in another 2 weeks you are gonna talk about marriage and having kids??instead of him being with you in a long-term relationship, it might end sooner which i hope it will not,just giving you a scenario....all the feelings that he had for you might go flying out of the window when you said you love him too soon...you might even appear desperate or unsure...i do not think that impresses a guy very much...so just take it slow and be yourself hun...

Give him time. Six weeks is not long enough to know if you really love someone in some people's mind. He may feel he does not know you well enough yet. He may want to see how you'll behave in various situations and how he will too. Just give him time and don't pressure him. Another person's love can't be requested, it can only be given.

Saying you love someone is a big step, and people will want to take their time with it. It doesnt mean he DOESNT like you, but LOVE is a big word. He has to think it over, which is very wise of him. Treat him respectfully for that and let him take his time, girl. You dont want to scare him away.

6 weeks is not very long. He probably doesn't love you...yet. That could change or it may not. Are you sure you love him after only 6 weeks? I think people are very wuick to rush into the "I love you" mode and your guy may be right in waiting to tell you until he is sure he means it.

He's exactly right to take his time! It's quite refreshing for him to not just jump into the "I love you" because its what you want him to say trap.
How can you possibly know you love him after just 6 weeks?
