hi there I work for an airline in check in you can take electrical items in your checked baggage as long as they have been used if brand new they may ask you to take the item for a secondary x-ray as for aerosols you can take no more than 2kg of aerosols in your checked baggage but no major flammables such as lighter fluid or items that are extreme flammable. If in doubt go to the airlines website and do a search for items u can and cannot put in your suitcase

You can put electrical items in your suitcase or hand luggage. Not sure about aerosols though.
BUT, it's best to check with the airline anyway as each airline varies. It also depends on where you're flying from and to.

You can take electrical items in your suitcase but you cant take aerosols because the air pressure will make them explode.
This is what i was told by airport staff last year so not sure if they have new regulations. You might want to check with your travel agent.

You can take electrical items on board the plane with you or in checked bags. Either is fine. However, you have to check aerosol sprays and TSA will look at them because I have had this happen.

You can bring both, but only in checked baggage not carry-on. And also provided that the aerosol cans are only personal item... like I often bring an aerosol can of dhaving cream when I fly and have never had a problem.

Yes no problem but understand your concern because of the wires. Also took the aerosol sprays in the suitcase. I checked with them beforehand and was told there was no problem.

I travel a lot, and carry my luggage on whenever possible. I usually have a can of shaving cream and a container of hair spray, and I have not had any problem for the past several years. Just be aware that if the terror threat level increases, things like aerosols may be looked at more closely. Enjoy your trip!

The last time I flew(last July) I checked with the airline I was using. You can pack hairdryers, hairspray, etc. in your suitcase, but you cannot have anything in your carryon or purse. I had a lighter in my purse, and they had to confiscate it. Anything like that has to be packed in your suitcase, and not on your person.

They have to be packed in checked lugage. You can't put them in a carry-on bag. Call the airline you are using to be sure about the aerosol sprays.
