Atheists have a real problem. They must either believe they were created by an all powerful, all knowing, loving God, or they must believe that their conscience existence is the result of an explosion of rocks and space gas. Do you think that's why atheists are so desperate and insulting with their religious questions and answers?

Atheists who are respectful of others are not on this site slamming Christians, insulting Jesus, and demeaning the Scriptures. Don't believe me? Try asking a religious question. The "Atheists" are sitting in the wings waiting to jump all over you. Want to get bashed...try it.

After being on this earth a very long time, I am so thankful I can say I do believe Jesus was sent by God to save us from our sins!
Thanks be to God

Christians have a real problem. They cannot fathom the possibility that there will be and end to their existence and because of that they feel the need to create an afterlife so that they can live comfortably in this life.
This leads to two things:
1. Attacking those who disagree because removing their belief would give them no reason to live.
2. Living a delusion that atheists can't be happy.
Go in peace Christian.

To generalize that atheists are insulting in their questions and answers is unfair since I have seen many atheists on here who are thoughtful and intelligent in their questions and answers. On the other hand I have seen Christians who are insulting, ignorant, and antagonistic towards those who don't agree with their beliefs. It works both ways.

When I was a christian, I was very glad I was one, yes. I pitied all the people who didn't have the joy of Christ, to say nothing of going to hell.
But it's interesting that you lump all atheists together as being "desperate and insulting." That's not just judgemental, it's fantastically inaccurate. And you have to know that.

You really should have stopped with "Are you Glad you're a Christian?" To go on and insult someone only covers your question in a dark cloud.
Yes, I"m glad I"m a Christian. To the atheists who mock Christianity, I feel sorry for them. Hate is a cold fire that serves no warmth. But there are some Atheists who respect others and respect their religion and they are good people.

I absolutley LOVE being a Christian. It's not even about being a "Christian" is is about believing that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and died for my sins. Sometimes I do not know what I would do without my faith.
Atheists are constantly defending their beliefs, just as Christians are. That's why I beleive they seem desperate - they have no faith to back up their beliefs.

On a related topic, do you think that the idea that they're right in spite of any evidence is what makes Christians so condescending?
