I actually suggested that at one point. Ignore buttons can do wonders in chat rooms. But an ignore button is too easy to get around in a question/answer forum. All the abusers have to do is change their screen names and/or set up multiple accounts.

Question; Would you use the ignore button so you do not learn from somebody just because they think different than You do at that time?

I think the best solution for rude and obnoxious questions is to not answer them.

That isn't a topic that belongs under "Religion and Spirituality".
And no, we don't need an ignore button! I wouldn't get all your lovely idea's otherwise. And without conflict, there is no point in sitting here and agreeing with eachother.

No way. The fun of this forum is the diversity of beliefs and opinions! I don't mind being insulted and I don't take it personally. If you can't handle it maybe you could join a forum where everybody agrees on everything, and their is no real discussion taking place. sigh. yawn.

I'd love it, actually. More for trolls than rude people, though. There's too much trolling going on.

No, just ignore them if you want to. How hard is that? Oh, you want to let them KNOW you are ignoring them, is that it?
