First things first. One thing is not to wash her hair too often. About once a week will do for her hair type. When you do wash it use a curl control shampoo and a deep conditioner. To control the frizz use a styling gel that contains protein and does not flake and contains no alcohol. To find these type of products go to a beauty supply store and ask for help. I understand what you're going through because I have to bi-racial nieces and a best friend and I take care of all their hair.

Just go into a salon and ask on of the employees for a good frizz controlling serum/lotion. They'll be able to recommend the best for her hair type.
You might also want to look into product lines that offer good curl controlling products.
I think your best bet would be to go to a salon though.
There will be a nice variety of products that are professional and not sold in stores for a reason (better quality).
If you don't feel like paying that much for something, just go to any drugstore and try out different curl products until you find something that works for her.
Good luck!

My mother used coconut oil and so did I on my daughter who although isn't of mixed race also has beautiful long springy curls which I love and adore when she wears her hair in natural curls but hated managing it cuz I was a single dad and it was truly very hard for me to care for her hair. But coconut oil kept it smooth, soft and shiny after sometimes using a straightening iron. She now uses coconut oil with her six year old who is of mixed races and has My daughters and ur daughter type hair. Try it after using a straightening iron especially made for children found at any beauty and hair shops through-out the United States. Good luck.

Have you tried using curling gel? It will smooth her hair, but still leaving it soft and curly. That will let you keep her hair down, but without being braided. Or, what if you put her hair into a half-ponytail? The front half will be slicked back and out of her way, but the rest will still be loose and allowed to curl.

Eh, just some ideas.

properly, to be user-friendly, this does technically qualify as an attack on the area of the different female, yet i'm no longer able to think of you getting too extraordinarily plenty in damages. i'm useful the gender of the choose might result that, yet questioning approximately it i'm unsure which may be extra perfect. in all hazard, taking legal action is barely going to learn the attorneys in any case. Salvage the hair, your daughter gets over it rather is going to truly in case you do no longer make a great deal out of it (no comments approximately how her hair appeared extra perfect previously, and so on) and make rattling particular that the critical is conscious you anticipate them to be extra proactive with regards to this sort of bullying sooner or later. How old is your daughter? Have you tried perming it or if you don't want to use chemicals, how about pressing it with a pressing comb. They can be purchased in your hair supply store. The pressing comb method is healthier than the perming but it is heat. You may have to press it out weekly to keep it soft and manageable. Good Luck

How would she feel about using a straightning iron? If she doesn't mind str8 hair they are excellent for keeping it silky and thin feeling..but don't buy one from walmart...get a good ceramic plated one, look online and on ebay. They do cost but its worth it..and when you wash it it goes back to normal if shes tired of the str8 look. Good Luck. =)

Using a conditioner each time you wash her hair will be very helpful. It gets rid of tangles & frizzies plus its gentle.
