I say it's fine, especially when they are younger. As they hit the adolescent years it will start getting uncomfortable so if at all possible they should have different rooms. But if it's not possible I don't see anything wrong with it although there will probably be fights. It's not innapropriate (in my mind - although I'm sure others disagree), just uncomfortable.

How old are they? Unfortunately, in a society like ours people act not only based on what is right and wrong. There are things are not wrong but are considered improper. For a brother and sister to share the same room (especially if they're of a certain age) is considered improper by most societies.

OK
every one is telling you NO
and as far as society that is what you will hear.
but if we all though back a few years or even is some other societies besides the USA. many family's have/had all slept in one room.
we have just became a society that looks at everything as sexual . I am in my late 30s and shared a bedroom with my younger sister and brother till after I was in my early teens. main reason was there was no extra rooms in the house.
yes all kids will explore their body's at some stage and wonder why they have this and their brother/sister does not.
we never used to think much of kids playing house or Dr. it was just part of what kids do.
as a society in general we have taken the dangers out there and made it hard to raise our children in the best way possible

I have a son and a duaghter that share a bedroom because we only have two bedrooms. They are only 1 1/2 and 2 1/2. I will separate them as soon as I can afford to move but in the mean time they share.

Depends on how old they are. Though most brothers and sisters find out how boys and girls differ from a very close acquaintance with their siblings.

I think at a certain age brother and sister should not be allowed 2 share a room coz at night may be the girl is sleeping in a bad way. U dont know wat is in her bro's mind. U know wat i mean. So just dont let them b 2 close. From childhood separate their rooms.

If they are infants then it is ok, but if they are older then it not right for them to share a room.

It depends on the age of the children. I won't encourage it after they are like 7 yrs old.
