I need to know if there is anyone who lives in texas and takes out student loans...I need to know if we have to sign a new promissary note every semester or every year. I got my loan starting in the fall of 2006 and I am wondering if I need to sign another one or not.
Ps. I forgot what bank I did it with I have recived nothing from them yet.

All I did was sign it in august and I have no clue if it needs to be signed again for this sem. The loan is approved for this sem but that still leaves me to if I need to re- sign the note to get the money. ( I am using the same lender)

this would depend on your situation. If you are still using the same lender, you should have signed a "master promissory note" and there would be no need for future promissory notes. If you have a different lender or if you did not sign a master prom note, you will have to resign every year.
