In my opinion, God is dynamic. There are many references in the Bible. God is a spirit who created man in His image. God is providing having giving us the earth and the plants and animals to have dominion over. (He wouldn't have been a very nice God to have created us but not give us anything to sustain ourselves).

I believe the God and His Son (Jesus) are one. So when you read in the Bible about Jesus you are reading about God. We see that He is patient, loving and kind.

The Bible gives no physical description of God.
Probably because He is not a physical being.
Exodus 34:6,7 gives a description of God's personality.
Ezekial 1: 26-28 gives a very POETIC description of God ....interesting, but not to be taken literally.

There are selected words like bossom and wings, but that could be metaphorical.

There is not a description of Jesus in the New Testament.
There is some description of the Messiah in the Old Testament.
But you could not draw a picture from it.

This is just one place that God is described as being:
Daniel 7:9 "As I looked,
"thrones were set in place,
and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow;
the hair of his head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire,
and its wheels were all ablaze.

10 A river of fire was flowing,
coming out from before him.
Thousands upon thousands attended him;
ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
The court was seated,
and the books were opened.

This is Jesus showing up with the Father in the Old Testament:

Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Revelation 1:12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man," dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

From this I get an idea that he is just overwhelming, righteousness eminating from him, and all deciet is seen through without any problem at all.

yes. he doesnot look like anything we can think. and we are not capable of seing him because of our low energy and knowledge. beside we are just in three dimension and live in time but he is timeless and above all the dimensions. this is if you ask for physical description. but if you ask about others , in quran there are more then hundred adjectives of god to describe him.

lots. i like the text of saivites which says God, when he appears in physical form takes the appearance of whoever the true devotee wishes for. afterall a rose is a rose in whatever language you call it.the essence is same. god won't mind you calling him Siva,Krsna,Jehovah or plain Lord. only the followers find it irksome.

God has many, many heads, each with a golden crown and he breathes fire.

Oh, and he holds a sceptre in one hand with which to bash infidels on the noggin.
