Yes and no. Yes, some men will continue to get jealous even after the relationship is over, but it is because they care on some level. The opposite of love is not hate... the opposite of love in indifference.

They only get jealous if they still have feelings for you that is not just men it's women too. Because if the person didn't care they sure wouldn't care who you are with.

Yes, they do. It is human nature. They dont like seeing you happy when you are with someone else. They like to believe that they are the only one that could ever make you happy. The same applies to women.
