According to the NT Jesus scolded his disciples for not believing Mary when she told them that he had risen. Couple that with his statement about divorce (paraphrase: 'because of the hardness of your hearts, Moses had permitted you to divorce your wives') and you get the feeling the biblical Jesus knew that men were inclined to be sexist and think themselves superior to women. Jesus was a feminist but Christians as a rule are still sexist, even today; they would reject a female Christ, which would be a very good reason why he might return as one. He was not his body, nor are you yours. A person's true identity is beyond gender and the superficiality of how a person looks.

It would be too confusing. Religions are all geared up for making sure that women never really get anywhere and if you change that with a female saviour it would cause no end of trouble.

Jesus will not come back as a woman and no that would not be ok. Jesus will come back exactly how he was when he left... a 33 year old man.

Maybe Jesus was a woman the first time. That's why "he" got so many guys to follow "him".

That would rock. I want Jesus to come back as a black lesbian lady who's actually turned Pagan b/c all the christians are hypocritical freaks and S/He would turn away from them because they've disgraced His/Her name.

Personally, I think it would be a hoot if he came back as a gay man who wanted to marry another gay man.

Wouldn't that make the fundies' hair stand on end!

Nothing is confussing to a true Child of God, So again I see most of you all think you can twist a question or statement around to suit your own thinking, It won't work with me, Jesus Is the SON of God Not the Daughter.

Well, God did say that He was conspiring against men. I wonder, would that cause a great revolt or apostacy? What was the great revolt all about in the first century, I wonder?
