Palma nova is a great destination, depending on what you're looking for. The man made beach is very clean, and has a blue flag (means its tested all the time to make sure its up to scratch). Good selection of restaurants and nightlife and plenty to do nearby if you like waterparks and themed nights (pirates etc, great fun btw...) If its out and out party you want, go round the corner to magaluf. If you want somewhere a bit quieter but still within 5 mins walk of magalufs madness, head to palma nova. You really cant lose :)

I was there 20 years ago. I suspect it has changed quite a bit since then. I can barely recall what it looked like due to the abundance of cheap alcohol, beaches, cheap mopeds for getting to Palma, and lots of noisy bars and discos.
Watch out for the cats, there are some wild cats which roam about that area. They get into fights, and their faces get covered in scratches and puss. Then they go and sleep on your balcony!

Its really nice stayed there last year! like magaluf but no where near as noisy!
