Everyone says that you should always stand up for the girl you love and always be there for her. But, can it actually be applied to a teenager as young as fourteen? I mean is in what way a boy at that age can stand up for the girl he likes? If they are just friends can he stand up for her? In what way?

You are never too young to make a stand for what you believe in. Always be prepared to defend . Wether it's a girlfriend a best friend , or even a stranger. If you take a place at your friend's side , they will always be there when you need them.

Your sweet, but at that age, I really wouldn't worry about standing up for her. When you get in high school your lives are going to go in separate directions for a while, you start your own thing. It's not going to matter now or not whether you stood up for her or not. Have fun don't worry about the girls right now.

I was engaged in high school. Needless to say I'm not married.
Things change.

Good Luck!
