Went out on a mini date last thursday, but was very shy with my date and they were a few werid moments but got through it okay at the end of the min date wen he dropped me home he shake my hand and kissed me on my left cheek and then pulled me in for a second kiss on the right cheek and asked me to call him wen l was next off for dinner does that mean he is interested?

Seems a bit half hearted to me, but he might just be shy.
Usually when I'm still interested in a girl after a date I'll say to them that I'll call them sometime soon, not ask them to call me. I don't want to be hanging around waiting by the phone, I'd sooner she be waiting. :P

Sure he's interested in another date. Whether he likes you is something that will take more time to figure out. Be patient with him because there will be a few more of those awkward moments you mentioned. We guys can be quite clumsy sometimes, but the good news for you is that his "weirdness" around you could mean that he has a crush on you.

hmmm. that depends. i think that it's weird that he kissed you on the first date. i'd say you call him and get to know him a bit better on the next date. if this is the first time meeting him, it's kind of hard to say what those kisses are "telling." hopefully next time you won't be too shy...try to do something fun that will get you out of your shell! :D

Sounds positive. Would you have preferred if he gave you a full on tongues down throat kiss? He is being sweet and respectful, next date he may even kiss your forehead.

Not sure to be honest. I think he'd get your number if that was the case, unless he's shy as well.... Two shy people trying to get it together, absolute nightmare of indecision.... If you like him take the bull by the horns, 'cos he sounds just a tad soft.

hang out in person with him sometime and watch. other than that, I've noticed that if there's ever a hunch that a guy likes you, he does. subconsciously or not, humans are great at picking up body language signals.

Yes!!! Call him - he may be thinking that you may not like him cause he might get confused with your body language, which may be telling him that you like him and your shyness.
You can assure him that you like him by saying things like 'I enjoyed your company last thursday' - not too obvious, but at least it shows him that you like him.
