"First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out.
Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists, but I was neither, so I did not speak out.
Then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out.
And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me."

Great motto and I thank you for sharing it.

Jesus Freak, however, sounds like he is so frightened that God is about to pull the rug out from under us, he's likely to forego your motto in order to keep his easily-offended deity pacified.

Didn't the Aztecs sacrifice virgins for the same reason?

Sometimes religion just scares the willies out of me.

Truely and well said.

It is in fact about the 'duties and rights' of a person who lives in a society. e.g. it is my duty to respect you and it is your right to get respect from me and vise versa is also true.

Now unless I protect your right, I can not protect mine. The rights and duities are co-related to each other.

The conflict arise when every body asks for his right, overlooking his duties.

If we better do our duties i.e protect other's rights, our rights will automatically be looked after.

Thats what I believe............

Yes. I think the biggest enemy of goverments and people in power in general are humans demanding human rights.
I think they are something you have to fight for because thats where they all come from, millions of people standing together and fighting for them.
Sadly, then people go and vote and who ever they vote for then takes them away again.

It sounds true enough. People have to look ahead to think that way, and not a lot do.

I as an American and an ex-soldier will defend your rights untill the day I die. However, I do not want the truth destroyed, and that truth is Christ is the only way to salvation and if our nation stands against God's Law then God will be against us, and no one, no matter how mighty, can stand against the awsome might of God almighty.
