This is my third time writing an essay for college. I wrote two and sent them off to different schools. It was easier because the topics were of my choice. I did one on my life growing up, and another on how people today base their lives on the superficial things people in magazines say.....
But for this one, I need to either write about how the past 4 years prepared me for college, my professional or educational goals, Or an important recent event.
I have no idea what to do it on, and even once I choose a topic, I don’t know what to write about. Can anyone Please help me?

I would do how the past 4-years prepared me. Then break it down into three categories.
1. Classes you took in school
2. Extracurricular activites
3. Other clubs and activiteis or volunteer work
Optional 4. Personal events
If you already have an idea of your major, concentrate on that. If you don't, just talk about how it prepares you for handling responsibility and managing your time, etc.

How about "how the past 4 years prepared me for college, my professional or educational goals"?
What have you done to prepare for your "idealized" college learning experience.
"I learned to to to chug a six pack" doesn't cut it.
Focus on what you want to do and find what you have done to foster that. Then list and describe all three.
1) goals
2) reasons
3)fostering.
"I want to be an entomologist"
"Since I was in x grade I enjoyed watching and studying Ents." - OK no humor allowed.
"I have started and presently preside over the Butterfly club."
So research what you want, and why. Then describe your preparation.

making up your mind is only the start . asking people on what to write on is a good start i think you should go a little higher though .G-D loves and wants what is best for you. asking him first would be better. hopefully will give you a spirit of obedience to him and your life will bloom into a splendid life.

an important recent event because you can enrich your essay from the event itself
you can analyze why such event happens in these circumstances..you can talk about all points of view in this event also you can match between the events as series
