I want to plan a weekend away somewhere this weekend, (In england) with my boyfriend. Ive trawled through hotelnet/superbreak and nothing is jumping out.

The weathers likely to be poor (in the north of england anyway) so need somewhere where they'll be indoor places.
Any ideas? I'd thought about York/Lincoln/Chester/Newcastle, but we've been there not long back

London is so 'done' - why not try Brighton ? Get a cosy room to retire to after days spent trawling the Alleys, the awesome restaurants and cafes. There are plenty of indoor activities too.

We got a last minute deal at a hotel right on the front, 4 poster, B&B for £79 quid each for Friday and Saturday night.

If not Bath is our favourite place for a weekend of culture, fine food and friendly conversation. And it's miles from London.

Head for the coast! We've got plenty of it, go and stare at the sea! I like South Devon and the Norfolk beaches around Brancaster. I must point out that the fresh air and better light at the seaside, may promote a certain 'frisson' normally associated with Springtime!
