Dandruff is the cause of dry scalp. Also from not washing shampoo all the way out and winter weather. I use head and shoulder's it works well. Its important to rise hair in cold water before you jump out, which adds another bonus "shine". Try not to blown dry on high heat too. As for black heads. They have and awesome product from clean and clear its called black head astringent. The results are not immediate you have to use everyday and you'll notice in about a weak. But it sounds like you have dry skin. If you do then don't use it. Exfoliate...exfoliate wash face with hot water to open pores clean and rinse with cold to close them back up. Exfoliation gets rid of dead skin on face and cleans pores. I hope I could help!

First you have to work on your dandruff, as it is the root of the problem. I would recommend you a regular hair massage with either almond oil or coconut oil. Otherwise any good quality oil will do. Shampoo your hair with good shampoo, which fights against dandruff. Use live-on conditioner after every wash. Wash your hairs properly and remove all amount of shampoo clearly. Rinse your hair till the shampoo gets extracted appropriately. Drink lot of water. Include salads, vegetables, eggs, fishes, juices and fruits in your diet. One most important thing is comb your hair with brush for at least four to five times in a day for adequate time so blood circulation will be better. For blackheads you can use scrubs, which are available in the market, or you can make you own scrub at home. Take some gram flour in a bowl; add some milk, some water, lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Make a fine paste. Salt particles should be felt with touch. Scrub on your face and then rinse after sometime. You will notice a change after some days. Good luck. If problem persists then consult your family doctor.

There are anti-dandruff shampoos, that you might be able to find in the supermarket, since they are quite common. for blackheads, having a sauna or jogging and drinking a lot of water can help get rid of blackheads and give your skin a really good work out. along with a change of soap ( I found nivea was good, but in the past I found dove was good too. You can get anti bacterial soaps that might help control problem areas.) and a brief shower twice a day maybe instead of once. good luck with that.

You can try the Selson Blue anti dandruff shampoo with conditioners (lots of them too)

Dandruff is just excessive shedding of head skin...

You can try these home remedies too ( mommy told me)
1. take juice of half a lemon (fresh lemon) and apply it to the roots of your hair and then take a towel, soak it in warm water, squeeze most water out and apply the warm towel on your head.

Wait 5 minutes and then wash your hair...

This also makes your hair really really shinny...

2. You can take fresh yoghurt and apply it to the roots ...wait 5 mins and then rinse it out..

this is for dry hair...if you have oily hair..dont try it...makes it worse...

p.s. I personally prefer the non-messy selson blue still...Works great...

For the blackheads,

Step 1 - Cleanse the face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. Preferrably use a salicylic acid cleanser such as this one, Joey NY Pure Pores Cleansing Gel to get rid of blackheads

Step 2 - Apply an astringent. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it. You can find some good astringents at Greatskin.com ( Just type "astringent" in the search product box).

Step 3 - Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.

Keep looking fabulous...

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

sounds like you have oily scalp dandruff.
dandruff AND blackheads sounds to me like you could be eating too much greasy stuff or processed foods that your body cannot break down (so it comes out the only way it can - out of your pores).

start to eat more fruits and vegetables and get a few facials.
make sure your shampoo has no glycerine (all hair products).
