Atheism is stranger. In all the zoos of tyhe world no one has ever seen two monkeys having a baby human.

You seem to imply that theism equates with "truth" and atheism is the fiction, and that, is truly strange LOL.
The "is there or isn't there a Mysterious Invisible Superbeing" I am sure will rage on for as long as it remains a totally unprovable concept. Some day the world might have the answer. Then, and only then, will we be able to say with certainty which is the fact and which is the fiction. Now I am going back to finish my breakfast.

Truth isn't strange. To be strange is to be unknown. If you say "truth is stranger than fiction" than what you are saying is the majority have it wrong. Since the the truth being more unknown than fiction.
One may be more ridiculous than the other. I think the one's who educate themselves in BOTH areas can actually determine which is false.

It seems apparent to me from all the atheist answers to your question that Theism is the stranger of the two alternatives. Therefore it is truth.

I've found that the truth generally isn't stranger than fiction. For instance, when I woke up this morning, I had cold cereal rather than braised alien cutlets. It's not particularly strange to have cold cereal, but it's generally true. At my apartment, anyway.

Atheism, hands down. Apparently, the ability to use critical thought is a minority trait in the human race, while the rest, the fiction-lovers, are drawn towards theism.

Atheism is the logical default but belief in a creator is sound enough. What is strange is when religions construct a vast edifice of meaningless dogma that becomes the main point of focus. Religion should always be based on experience and creating better people here and now instead of rituals, doctrines, liturgies etc.

I beg to differ. For starters, how can truth is strange? Truth is the instrument to obtain eternal salvation.

Its not a question of strange, the Universe is a far more interesting and wonderful place as revealed by logic and reason than through a man-made bronze age mythical being.

The universe has more than its share of wonder and things to discover. Religion is pale and shallow in comparison.
