I actually spoke with poison control already and they said it's fine on the poison end. I'm wondering on the hormonal end if there is anything I should do or it will just clear his system.

Read carefully the contra indications associated with those brand of pills and watch for the signs. Here is a general list:

These are considered rare:
Sharp chest pain, shortness of breath, coughing up blood.
Severe pain and/or swelling in the calf or thigh of the leg.
Sudden partial or complete loss of vision.
Sudden severe headache unrelieved by pain medication, possibly accompanied by vomiting, dizziness, or fainting.
Disturbance of vision or speech, or weakness or numbness of an arm or leg.
Crushing chest pain or heaviness.
Breast lumps.
Yellowing of the skin (jaundice).

Watch for nausea, mood changes or change in blood pressure, shortness of breath or muscular pain. These disturbances may be temporary but you should talk to your doctor.

How does a 3 year old swallow pills? Thats crazy. But if he did I would call your dc right away, or poison control just to ask.

If poison control gave the green light, I am sure he will be fine. I hope this is a lesson to you to keep drugs out of the hands of children.

Call your local poison control just to be on the safe side. Or call his Dr and tell them what happened.

Call Poison Control! Probably not, but you should definitely ask them.

Call (800) 222-1222

You should call your sons pediatrician and let him/her know what happened. Poison Control may only handle the poison aspect only.

Possibly, I myself would call poison control and see what they say to do.
