Will I need the w2 forms from all 5 of the employers I have made no less than $1,000.00 U.S. FUNDS from each job. ISo will I be at a greater risk of being audited? And if the tax stuff is mailed to me and gets lost in the mail how would I go about filing the return despite the missing information (my paycheck stubs are A.W.O.L.).

Yes you need to wait for all of the W-2s from the jobs. If by February 15th you have not received all of them then any missing ones can be recreated on a Substitute W-2 form. You are responsible for estimating the income and withholding amounts for each employer on those. Without a paystub, it will be a difficult process but the IRS will accept your estimation until something different is reported from the employer.

Additional W-2s do not increase your risk of being audited.

If you do not have all of your W2s by the first of February, contact that employer to get it. By law, you should have it by then. Lost in the mail, or not sent---it is up to you to make sure you have them.

You will need all five of the W2s to report income. Having so many different job incomes to report should make no difference on your chances of being audited.

Well, if for some reason they get lost in the mail (which is pretty unlikely) then you'd need to request duplicates from the emloyer because yes, you'll need each, to file your taxes. It will walk you through this if you are filing using the short form. I don't think that has anything to do with being audited.

You will need to file for all the jobs you had during the 2006 year. If you do not receive a W2 from one of those employers, you need to call them to get a copy (trust me, this happens frequently, I used to do payroll). You should also be able to obtain copies of pay stubs.
