It's hard because I dont know what it looks like...but could you use it as a changing table? Get pretty baskets lined with checkered pink/blue fabric (like at pottery barn). Get one of those changing pads with the high sides. Of course, you'd have to be very careful, but those dresser/changing table things are popular..so it would kinda be like that. Then you could put little knick-knacks and cute baby things all around for decoration. Im sure you'll get tuns of stuffed animals to store there too.

While the baby is really little, you could still keep the computer there because the baby will not be able to get at it. You could even play music and/or pictures on your computer that the baby might like.
If you are moving your computer out, then will the desk not go wherever the computer is going?
Otherwise you could use it for photos on the top, and small baby items in the drawers if it has drawers.
Depending on the size and what you already have ... you might also be able to get a changing table top for it and turn it longwise with the drawers on the side that you can get to.
Whatever you decide, I am sure it will be nice.

You should save yourself some money on a changing table and just get an inflateable one and put it one the desk. I got one at shopko or walmart for like ten dollars. Beats fifty or more for a changing table. It even has sides to keep the little bitty ones from rolling off the table. A nice basket to keep wipes, diapers and powder/ointment in and your all set. Extra space on the desk can be used to display stuff or keep toys nearby. As the baby gets older you can move changing to the floor then you don't have an extra piece of furniture to store.

Just use it for figurines or something along that line, do you have a baby theme? For example Winnie the pooh is popular, buy some poohs, tiggers, eeyores and sit on the desk. You can also buy some of those really cute linen lined baskets and put diapers, and rolled up blankets in them. Set some family photos on the desk so that the baby will see them often. Good Luck and God Bless

I had the same situation. Using a waterproof pad to cover the desk, I used it as the baby changing station. I never had a problem. My husband uses that desk now in the home office, and we are glad we kept it, none the worse for wear. Don't be afraid to be resourceful.

You can use it as a changing table you can buy the cushions
at a baby store. I think it would be also a great desk for the child as they grow to.

They carry changing table pads at places like Babies R Us. The pads can be attached to tabletops, dressers, etc. You could pick up one of those (they're not too expensive) and use the computer desk as a changing table!

Good luck!

if the desk has adjustable shelves, you could place some teddy bears or gifts in the pigeon holes. you could also use it as storage for baby's nappies, wipes, singlets, bath time needs or whatever else you like. use it as a storage type table while baby cant move around or reach it then use it as a furniture piece later on.

You could put a pad on it and use it for a changing table. The desk drawers could hold all the little necessities.
