Not if you don't buy a ticket. If you do play the lottery, decide first how much you can afford to spend---and most likely never see again. Take half of what you were going to spend on the lottery and leave it at home; take the other half and buy your ticket. When you find that you didn't win, you'll still be ahead by 50%.

Well,we know you won't win if you don't try, but we also know that the odds are stacked highly against us to win. The odds depend on how many tickets you buy and the total of numbers you have to choose from. I have noticed that the recent POWERBALL jackpot winners have been groups who play together. Great strategy.
