The death of my mother back in 1996. She was 49 at the time. I still miss her after 10 years.

The other worst thing that ever happened to me was the sexual attack I received from an 18 year old son of a neighbor when I was 8 years old. To this date, I still can't get over it. His mother was taking care of me and she went out to buy some groceries and left me alone with her son. So he decided to attack me sexually.

Losing a loved one, my grandparents, my parents, some close friends, they all hurt but as they all had pretty good innings, you learn to accept that. But we lost a kid in very tragic circumstances and that pales the rest into insignificence!

When I found out my (deceased) dad was not my real dad. The same day I found out my mom was taking enough antidepressants with scotch on the rocks to talk to Jesus every morning.

Yes. I would think that tops most lists. The problem is the older you get, the more freinds you lose. Cheer up Tisha!

After reading the answers my non-existing troubles seem even more insignificant.
For me, being born was a wrong move.

i'm sorry for your loss. And everyone else's.
