Depends on what you're using it for. My mom has a jar of holy water in our house that she uses to bless our house when we have major storm warnings. To date, my house has survived devistaing thunderstorms, tornado warnings (they always seem to vanish before they reach my house, luck, science or faith, I don't care) and a hurricane. I think it works when used for the right things.

If you drink lots of spring water and cut down on fatty foods you miraculously get thinner. It works!

Not so much, in my opinion. The OT speaks about blessing anointing oil, but as far as I know, water is just water.

I am a believer in Christ, but the only miracle it works is if someone on TBN is selling it and you have bought it. They have taken your money.

it's not the physicalness of the water,
it's the spiritualness of your belief.

Only if there is true faith and belief in YOU that it will. Just like anything else.
