I really don't think so. My fiance left for Japan 3 months ago and our relationship has progressively gotten worse. We talk twice a day, IM each other and have webcams, but the strain of being apart is UNREAL. My advise is to leave the relationship as open while he/she is gone. If it is meant to be it will be there when they get back. It is hard to keep the love going when you can't hold each other every night, look into each other's eyes, and just be together. I'm sure everyone is diffrent though. I just kow I did not and is not working for us.

The same freaking thing just happen to me. i meet someone and he is in India and hell no long distance relationship cannot work it too complicated when you want them by your side to love you hold you and make tender love to you they are just not there and sometimes you feel like you want to cheat on them then you remember both have you are coming from you change your mind. And sometimes it can be very depressing.

well in the same situation, my boyfriend is about to go to iraq too while i am here at Philippines. all i can say is that you have to trust and keep communications working... like me, i am just waiting till he returns... Gudluck

i love airforce im in the airforce but no they dont work out to well not unless your lucky but if you kno that hes faithful try and work things out the best to your ability
