you know when your hopes are too high, and you know you shouldn't get them too high, but you do it anyway, and then something comes and smashes everything and you feel like an idiot, but then you tell yourself that you shouldn't jump to conclusions too fast, but you can't help but feel that everything is smashed when it might not really be the case, and you still are annoyed and you want to confront the person, but you think it will make things worse, but you're still not sure that this will happen, so you lay in your bed thinking and can't get enough sleep and you feel that your head and chest will explode ? that's how i feel right now. it sucks. worst feeling ever. what should i do now? should i just get it out of my head? it's overwhelming!!!

PS sorry for the running statements. i just needed to get it off my chest :(

i agree with yabadabadoo... the worst case would be regret. think it through...if you think telling him is the right thing to do, then by all means do. but never do things just too rashly that you'd end up wishing you didnt do it in the first place. time has a way with sorting out things. i guess you're tossing and turning in bed now and can't sleep. you can keep that up until you get tired or you can go have a walk or some exercise to hasten the process. either way, it makes you clear your mind and prevents you from doing stupid things.

I know just how you feel.
My bf did that to me for my birthday for two years straight.
I could have cried... My family was laughing at me and the thing is I would always give him my best.
I tried this year again not to make it a big deal but he surprised me greatly... But that's another story.
To your dilemma now, I'd just advise that you take it easy.
Get something to calm youir nerves..
A glass of red wine usually does it for me.
And cry... have a good cry because when you finally talk about it you'll need all the strength you can muster.

Stay away from the person for a few days.
Keep communication mimimal for at least four days and then finally bring up the situation and let the person know how much you were hurt by the whole thing.

Also say that you know that things pop up from time to time but you really had gotten your hopes up.
Explain how badly you were disappointed but also say that you forgive him/her for what happened and mean it too... don't just say it.
Remember at the end of the day that we are all just human beings and we are prone to make mistakes.

I had the same thing before then after this hopes and dreams i have fallen and i was smashed .

What i did that after i knew i have lost every thing , i started to think how to get back in life and be my self again it took long time for sure << am talkin about losing a best best friend because of a dirty stinky pussy >> .. of course wat happened was killing me and took over my mind to know how to fix it ....

i realized after this experience that we have to calm down and see what will happen next and never stop at this point and to be sure that of what happened will never be fixed just look around and choose another way to walk in ,,

i did that then after about 5 monthes me and my frnd are frnds once again

If you have an issue that needs addressing, you have to go ahead. If you think you can't, don't go on with the relationship anyway since you will always feel like exploding and will never be happy. Everyone needs closure and you have to find it through engaging the issue.

If it is smashed, then let it be. Confronting the person will make it worse.
I know it hurts, and you want to fix it so bad, but you need to just let it go, deal with the pain and move on. You will just keep hurting yourself over and over if you try to fix it.

Read
Watch tv
Express yourself- write a song, poem
Go shopping
Clean with the radio blarring!


Also, think to yourself why am I getting my hopes up?? Is this over a dumb guy???

If you have more of an oppurtunity to conffront this person please do it. Im having the same problem and i cant confront her not beacause im shy, but there are other hurdles! I also feel that i want to explode. So go and talk to this person, you never know!
