I wanted to add that if you want to estimate how long a particular drug stays in your body, you can look up the half-life of the drug. Generally speaking, for every half-life, half of the drug is metabolized. If you take 1mg of a drug with a half-life of two hours, after 2 hours there will be 0.5mg left. After 4 hours - 0.25mg, 6 hours - 0.125mg, etc.
There are complicating factors. Average half-lives will usually be given as ranges (eg. 2 - 4 hours, 1 - 6 days). The half-life varies depending on the person and sometimes on dosage. At large doses drugs can saturate their metabolic pathways, slowing their metabolism. A particular person may be deficient in a particular enzyme, slowing their metabolism of particular drugs. Some drugs get deposited in tissue and take longer to be eliminated from the body (eg. cannabis). Sometimes a drug has an active metabolite with a much longer half-life than itself. Metabolites have their own half-lives and metabolic pathways.

Which drugs? how often do you do it? If you just smoked one joint and never really do it then you should be clean in a few days. If you smoke alot for a week expect it to take a month to get clean. You can speed the process by drinking alot of water and working out.

It depends on which drug it is but I'd say a couple months. If you drink a lot of water it will flush your system quicker

it depends on the drugs. i dont know about any other kinds but pot to be safe takes abuot 3 weeks depending on how often you exercise and your body type. drink lots of water, cranberry juice and exercise as often as possible.

It depends if it is lipid soluable or water soluable. Lipid soluable drugs will stay in your system longer than water soluable drugs.
