When you both know that you compliment each other very well. When what you lack she makes up for and vice versa. When you know that after work each day, you look forward to seeing the other. When you sleep at night you love watching your other when you wake up. When there are more happy moments then sad ones, which you often work out to resolve. When you know you could sacrifice yourself entirely if you needed to for the other.

I think ya know cuz it's someone that's always there for you to love and care for ya, someone that feels very close to you even when you a far apart.
You will have a lot in common with this person and share same views on many things-be it animals, relationships, family, etc.
And I think with your soulmate, you wont need to goto great efforts to entertain yourselves (expensive hols, theme parks, etc) as just being together is all that matters.
Most importantly- follow your heart
