I don't think it's offensive, but you're making a joke out of what some people take quite seriously. You should expect people to get upset.

I'm not really sure what you're asking by the way it's worded but I don't really find it offensive. Satan has too much pride to ever ask forgiveness but if he did & was in heaven I think the question of what was he doing there appropriate.
I'm a christian & I just saw it as an appropriate response to seeing anyone somewhere you didn't expect to see them. So why would I be offended? My gosh the original question was only hypothetical. I can't imagine it as being asked in seriousness. Your answer to it gave me a little morning giggle.

No offense taken here. I thought what you said to be quite stupid actually. Yes, you are right. There is room for improvement.

Imagine yourself REALLY being at those Gates.
Now imagine that you do not even know what Lucifer even looks like.
Imagine now just how you would react just being in that scenario.
Hmm? Believe me, or better yet, BELIEVE GOD.....Little Lucy will most certainly not be there.
GOD created us in HIS image. Therefore, He created our every emotion. This, to me......was funny. I DEVOUTLY LOVE JESUS CHRIST, yet, to even think on this, to say "What r U, doin here?" is just funny. I imagine it would not work out this way at all if it really happened, I imagine I would call on Jesus and say "We have a trespasser again!".....LOL
Some might take offense, but remember, GOD does in fact have a sense of humor, just look at all the proof, he created man. LOL!!!! j/k, j/k. Just kidding boys! I truly am happy to have one of your ribs, thank you LORD!~

Well...I am not Offended, Satan is , however, not at the gates of Heaven, he is here on Earth.
"How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! 13"But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. 14‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’" (Isaiah 14:12-14).

What if.
What if is not a question.
Dream up all the "what ifs" you want.
What if the sky is green instead of blue.
Hypothetical questions are foolish and immature.

He might be there helping escort the majority of souls away from the Light which they rejected when they were alive.
