Well what happened was I was driving around all the pubs in town and slowing down outside them as you do and then suddenly taking off at high speed whilst pressing my turbo boost button when all of a sudden it made a sound like blow-off and my car suddenly went into reverse and everyone was laughing at me! I cant live without my turbo boost button, it attracts all the chavs, what can i do? As a temporary measure do you think it would be ok to make a pssssssssssssstttttt noise out the window? sent

your prolly had it over boosted more than what your engine takes which made the turbo gets disconnected off your engine, this could happen.
but about the reverce hmmm no idea, anyways about the pffffffffffttt sound thats the blue off valves sound, they can still be safe but maybe the turbo got damaged, just get it checked wont cost you much. and if lived where i lived i couldve told you whats wrong with and helped you fix it.

Record the sound of a jet fighter and play it as load as possible on your 10000000000 mega watt tub thumping speakers.Especially out side your nearest maccy d`s.Then retire buy a vectra and get a life,not forgetting to get the Burberry base ball cap surgically removed!!!

Yes, the Pssssst sound will work on Chavs, as they're too stupid to know otherwise! Get it fixed soon though, as the longer you go without it, the harder it will be to get used to it again.

sounds like you may have a hose blown off.. have you checked all the hoses, to see, the button might not engage if the turbo can't suck in air...it might be a safety devise, to keep you from burning it up...Good Hunting
