the EPA (environmental protection agency) outlawed selling them for boats and other recreational vehicles- they are all 4 stroke engines now- at least the new ones. It is still legal for a private individual to sell one to another individual.

Being able to run with less oil. Two stroke engines are on thier way out. Newer improvements being made on four strokes for smaller veh. such as snowmobiles.ect
