Why do people give a sex to god, sex only apply to creatures that need to reproduce via sexual activity.

A god would not need to so a god must be genderless.

Isnt the fact that god is genderized only a proof that it was created by human patriarchs, who needed to proove that the male is the dominant part?

coming from a Christian that's a difficult question. God is God and so doesn't have gender, i dont but i think i should know if it mentions God as He. God created gender, i know that's just a statement but it does make you think, if god hadn't created gender he could of just made things the same sex then, He created Adam first, i think that's why they say that the male is dominant. and in bible times up till not so recently the females weren't respected as much as males so yet another reason for the dominant male. in society nowadays though it's a lot more geared towards females so that's fairer.

You read way to deep.

I think we give God a gender "father" because a father is supposed to take care of his family be sort of a protector.

besides...man and women were made in God's image....not just man.

Technically gender is one of the body characteristics, if God has got no body, he's got no gender. I guess that it's all about grammar. Perhaps the term "Male" appeared earlier then "female"...

God has no gender. He is no Father or Mother nor a Son or a Doughter. He is the Creator. He creates, not gives birth. Please dont humanize Him.
