It is difficult to get a loan without having decent credit. If you own a car you may be able to go to one of the title loan companies. They will usually loan on a clear title. I think most of them only lend about $300 and interest rates are typically high. You may be better off to start selling things rather than getting a loan.

It's getting easier for those with bad credit to get a loan. It usually means that you need to put up a larger down-payment and/or pay a higher interest rate.

But, be very careful. There are lots of companies out there that promise to give a loan, but then scam you. One scam, in particular, asks you to pay some fees up front, but then never delivers the loan.

Check with the Better Business Bureau to make sure the bank is not legitimate. Also, as around among your friends and colleagues for a reputable lender.

Good luck.

The best thing to do is join a local Credit Union and loan from them. The rates are lower and it repairs your credit rating for future loans xxxxxxxx

You have bad credit because you couldn't pay the right way on past loans. Uh, like...nobody?

Gee, if I had money to lend, I'd certainly want to lend it to you seeing you have repaid all your past loans in such an excellent manner! My bad.
